Visiting Tasmania in 2025? Here's where to stay, eat, and explore
Posted: 26 March 2025
Where we went, what we loved & why you’ll want to visit
To celebrate the launch of Sky Blue, the team packed their bags and set off for Tasmania
It was the perfect backdrop to bring our newest shade to life, and along the way, we fell in love with everything Tassie has to offer.
From breathtaking stays to must-visit spots, here’s our guide to experiencing Tasmania at its best.

Where to stay in Tasmania

Shack in the Dunes, Weymouth
We split our trip in two, staying at both Seastone and Shack in the Dunes (how lucky are we?!).
First, we drove down to the coastal town of Weymouth, Australia, to settle into Shack in the Dunes. Nothing quite comes close to having sand on your doorstep and the sea a stone’s throw away. We ended every night with tea around the campfire and never wanted to leave.

Seastone, Swansea
But, there’s always a silver lining.
After checking out we drove 2 hours south to Seastone in Swansea. It’s an intimate escape hidden on Tasmania’s East Coast. Known for hosting coastal elopements - and we can see how this is a place you’d fall head over heels for.
We also made sure to stop by The Piermont Hotel for a quick bite to eat while we were waiting to check-in.

Where to eat in Tasmania

Devil's Corner
After soaking up the vineyard views (honestly, the lookout alone is worth the trip), we settled in for what can only be described as the ultimate long lunch. First up, freshly shucked oysters from Freycinet Marine Farm, served cold with a squeeze of lemon. Then came the most amazing wood-fired pizzas from Tombolo Freycinet.

The Agrarian Kitchen
The Agrarian Kitchen is all about incredible food made from local produce. They have a set menu (which evolves with the seasons) and it's great for getting a taste of everything they have to offer. Every dish is packed with flavour, so definitely add this to your list.

What to do in Tasmania

Honeymoon Bay
Honeymoon Bay is one of those spots that takes you by surprise. The water is crystal clear, and the mountains in the background just make you feel at ease. If you’re in Tassie, make sure you stop by, it’s worth it.

Harvest Farmers Market
Harvest Market is where you’ll find the best local fruits and veggies, fresh sourdough, and some homemade bakes. It’s a nice spot to have a wander, grab a coffee, and meet the growers. Fun, fresh, and all from Tassie.

Bruny Island
To put it simply, Bruny Island feels like magic. It’s a slice of paradise that feels completely untouched. The 20-minute ferry ride over is an experience in itself, and once you arrive, the coastline, winding tracks, and even the penguins (!) make it a place you’ll never want to leave.

Our trip may be over, but the memories (and our love for Sky Blue) live on. Shop the new collection and bring a touch of Tasmania into your home.
