This artwork was created in collaboration with I Love Linen by the supremely talented artist Lauren Freestone, otherwise known as Freestone Art. Creating her sublime and intricate pieces from her studio on the mid north coast of NSW, Gumbaynggirr Country, Lauren created this divine piece, Out In The Hills, as a homage to her ancestors.
"This piece is inspired by the hills and sandstone cliffs of Wiradjuri Country, and the last light rolling over the towering landscape. The hills that stood alongside my great-grandparents hold so much of our history. It's a special place of connection with my ancestors, and their presence is always with me on their beautiful Country."
